[GM]: BEGIN SESSION
[GM]: The fastcoach rides toward Lexington: a fairly uneventful trip, but nonetheless the party speedly moves towards to Royal City via one of the fastess means of transportation of modern Methor. It is 3:45pm on the 1st Thursday of Drakurah, in the Spring of 1132p.
[GM]: Everyone please tell me what you are doing.
[GM]: ...except for Jackdaw
[Jackdaw]: there is a drumming sound comming from the roof as Jackdaw practices percussion inspired by the horses hoofbeats
Jamison is looking out the coach window
(Jamison whispered to GM): I think Jing was sleeping...
[GM]: Jing is sleeping
Thomas is idly looking out the window, watching the scenery stream by in a blur.
[GM]: Palmer just told Anval that the road was clear all the way to Lexington
(GM whispered to Jamison): Vision roll please.
[Zuggtmoy]: Anne is watching the terrain pass by, chatting with the others as they wish, and pointedly ignoring Jing, except for any direct questions....
(To GM) DICE for Jamison: (3d6) : 3d6=4,4,6 = [ 14 ]
(Jamison whispered to GM): Here come my dice....again
[GM]: The terrain is fairly flat but slightly rolling. Green grass as far as the eye can see.
(GM whispered to Jamison): missed by how much?
[Zuggtmoy]: (Anne carries the Sanctum Ral with her - it's not in her luggage!)
(GM whispered to Zuggtmoy): I thought so.
(GM whispered to Zuggtmoy): There is a place above your heads that could hold some items. Another option for the Sactum Ral without letting it out of your sight.
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): keeped an eye on the mans while my drummed
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): The man stares at the fastcoach. He rides a large white horse.
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): I mean the horse and rider have stopped on a hill 1 mile away.
(Zuggtmoy whispered to GM): Anne thinks so too! She will place the sanctum Ral in that small area - in a spot where she can keep her eyes on it constantly, within seconds, if needed...
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): k
[GM]: A few minutes pass
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): any more mans around watcheding us?
[GM]: Palmer: There .. something up ahead.
[ melinda joined the game ]
Jamison perks up....
[Jamison]: Anne, ask Palmer what he sees...
[GM]: Palmer takes out a sphere and studies it.
Zuggtmoy wonders why Jing is accompanying them, if he is as Faithless as he seems....
[melinda]: shall i leave?
[GM]: Palmer: I don't like the looks of this at all.
[Jamison]: What is it?
[GM]: OOC: Melinda - just playing a game here. You are welcome to lurk.
[melinda]: thanks
[GM]: Palmer turns to the passengers
[GM]: Palmer: There is a coach up ahead. Stopped on the highway.
(Anne whispered to GM): Would it be unfair to say "Anne would travel in her armor, to better be able to defend the sanctum ral?"
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): does my seed this?
Jamison looks around outside the coach...
[GM]: Palmer: I see 4 men standing outside of it ... and they look suspicous.
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): Roll vision
Thomas stretches out, cracking his knuckles. He sits up and looks out the window at the scene.
(To GM) DICE for Jackdaw: (3d6) : 3d6=5,5,6 = [ 16 ]
[Jamison]: What kind of coach is stopped, can you tell?
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): score 15
[GM]: No one inside the coach can see it yet.
[Jamison]: How far away?
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): must be watcheding the mans on the hill
[ melinda left the game ]
[GM]: Pamler: About 2 miles ahead.
Thomas looks over, "Can we detour and avoid?"
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): The man on the hill is starting to get farther away. You haven't made out the coach yet.
[GM]: Palmer: Sure, we don't have to stop
Jamison thumps the roof of the coach.."Jackdaw, keep a close look out up there..."
Jackdaw plays a counterbeat back
[Jamison]: They could need help... I think we may want to check it out...
[Jackdaw]: "My watcheding the mans on the hill"
[Jackdaw]: "that what you meaned?"
[GM]: Spence: Well, if there were a Knight aboard .... I am sure that he would insist on stopping.
[Jamison]: How many do you see, LD?
[Thor]: ooc: ok I'm here, was away sorry.
[GM]: Spence: But we need to make a decision now.
[Jackdaw]: "One, ona horsie"
[Jamison]: Let's see if they need help...
[Thor]: "I feel we should stop and investigate."
[GM]: Palmer studies his sphere.
[Jamison]: One on a horse....How many on foot?
[Jackdaw]: "Horsie have 4 foots"
[GM]: Palmer: I think they may be rouges ... It looks like they may be looting another coach.
[Anne]: It seems like a strange situation to me - but if you wish to stop, fine... I suggest we all remain armed and only keep our distance...
[GM]: Spence: This could be dangerous. Perhaps we should just keep going.
[Jamison]: Well then, we deffinately need to stop this....
[GM]: Horrice grabs for his halberd, not saying a word.
[Thor]: "I think so too Jamison. Either way, everyone keep your weapons ready."
Jamison nudges Jing..."Wake up, we have company....
[GM]: You are now 1 mile away from the obstruction.
[GM]: Jing: What?
[Jamison]: Company, ahead... be prepared for the worst...
[GM]: Spence to Palmer: What's it going to be?
Jamison looks out the coach window....
[GM]: Palmer puts his sphere away and looks through the window to the passengers.
[Anne]: Anne readies her mace, and hides the Sanctum Ral among the other goods within the Fastcoach's interior...
(Jamison whispered to GM): Is there room under the seat of the coach to hold the sword?
[GM]: Palmer: What's it going to be? Stop? .. or keep going. They have no hope of stopping this fastcoach.
Thomas shrugs, nowing full well that he could be miles away with a gesture and a thought. Thomas adjusts his sword and puts his intertwines his fingers and stretchs, the cracking audiable. "Bandits on the road? We can't have that, stop we shall my good man!" Thomas says in his most faux heroic voice.
(GM whispered to Jamison): As you check, you think that there probably is enough room.
Jamison moves his wrapped package under the seat of the coach...
[GM]: Palmer looks at Jamison: Well? (then to Anval) What say you two?
Jamison then grabs his staff and prepares to depart the coach...
(GM whispered to Jamison): It is a tight fit ... but it is concealed there.
Anne scans the area for signs of other people that might not be readily apparant...
[GM]: 1/2 mile away
Thor looks at Jamison and adds in his own best voice "I agree. We should stop and deal with the situation"
[Jamison]: I say stop goodman...
[GM]: No of you see anyone else in sight.
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): is mans on horsie out of sight yet?
[Jamison]: We will deal with these ruffians, posthaste...
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): The man on the hill is now out of sight.
[Anne]: If Jamison and the others ffeel we should stop, then stop - but remain ready to leave quickly!
[Jackdaw]: "no can see-ed mans on horsie now"
[Jackdaw]: "is all better?"
[GM]: The coach slows at the response of Spence and you feel the wheels touch the highway. The ride becomes slightly rougher than it has been.
[Jamison]: Keep a watch out up there, Jackdaw... we are going to stop
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): You can see the coach ahead now.
Jackdaw looks around
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): details?
(To GM) DICE for Jackdaw: (3d6) : 3d6=6,5,4 = [ 15 ]
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): 4 men stand outside of a stopped coach. They appear to be checking it out.
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): A smaller coach (regular) than the one you ride in.
Jackdaw shouts "there a coch and four mans on the road ahead"
[Jackdaw]: "A baby coach"
[Jamison]: Stop this thing a few yards away from the other coach....20
[GM]: Spence: Very well.
Jamison looks around... "Everyone ready?"
Jackdaw waves at the mans
[GM]: On the road to Lexington, the party has seen a small amount of traffic. There has been a few coaches and a few groups of riders on horseback, but all in all a small amount of traffic.
Jackdaw calls out "you haveding troubles?"
[GM]: The coach comes into sight now ... of everyone inside.
[Jamison]: Spence, are there any others on the road?
Thomas nods, getting ready to exit the fastcoach.
[Jackdaw]: "you breakeded?"
Thor nods as the other coach comes into view
[GM]: One man waves at Jackdaw
Jamison prepares to exit the coach as soon as he can...
[GM]: The fastcoach comes to a stop.
Thor readies his sword and prepares to step out
[GM]: <<just a second>>
Jamison exits with his staff...
(To GM) DICE for GM: (3d6) : 3d6=2,2,3 = [ 7 ]
[GM]: Approaching the coach, the party sees 4 men standing outside of the coach and looking at it. Two men appear to be drivers, and one men appears to be a guard of some type carrying a two-handed sword. The fourth man appears to be a knight and is most likely a passenger on the coach. Inside there is a full load of passengers minus a place for the knight.
[GM]: I need an IQ roll from everyone
[GM]: And tell me how much you made it by.
DICE for Thomas: (3d6) : 3d6=4,5,3 = [ 12 ]
(To GM) DICE for Anne: (3d6) : 3d6=6,2,1 = [ 9 ]
DICE for Thor: (3d6) : 3d6=6,1,2 = [ 9 ]
(Thomas whispered to GM): By 2
DICE for Jamison: (3d6) : 3d6=6,1,1 = [ 8 ]
(Thor whispered to GM): IQ isn't my strong point. Failed by 1
(Jamison whispered to GM): by 2
[Anne]: made it by 5! Do I get a bonus for having Tactics and CR?
(GM whispered to Anne): No, not here.
(To GM) DICE for Jackdaw: (3d6) : 3d6=4,6,3 = [ 13 ]
[GM]: <<The map is accurate>>
[Jackdaw]: on the nose
[GM]: The coach is stopped some 10 yds from the other coach
[GM]: You all see the four men studying the coach.
[GM]: The knight waves.
Jamison exits the coach
[GM]: Knight: Greetings.
[Jamison]: OOC: how many steps away from the coach may I move?
[GM]: OOC: Your choice ... we are not in combat mode
[GM]: Knight: Everything is fine here now
[Jamison]: Sir Knight, are you in need of some assisstance?
[Jamison]: What happenned?
[GM]: Knight smiles at Squire Jamison: Actually, we had some trouble, but I believe that all is well now.
(Thomas whispered to GM): Question: Does it look like all those people could fit in that carriage?
Jamison steps forward... "What kind of trouble?"
Thor steps outside the coach
Jackdaw listens intently
[GM]: Driver2: We lost a wheel, but repairs have been made. We were just about to be on our way.
(Jamison whispered to GM): OOC: can I attempt detect lies?
(GM whispered to Jamison): Sure
DICE for Jamison: (3d6) : 3d6=4,6,5 = [ 15 ]
Thor steps forward next to Jamison
[GM]: The 5 passengers inside look out, but do not speak.
(Jamison whispered to GM): Should I roll or you roll ... maybe I should not know that I failed
[GM]: OOC: Btw, the three men could fit on the top of the coach.
[GM]: Driver1 moves to check out the horses.
Jamison steps forward....."Maybe I should check that new wheel, just to make sure..."
[GM]: Driver2: Ahh... no need. All is well.
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): uunh, I can't move Jd
Thor steps forward
(GM whispered to Jamison): No I think you rolling is the way it should have been done.
[Jamison]: Oh no... it's no trouble... we don't want it to breakdown again...
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): Try it now
(Jamison whispered to GM): Missed
[Jamison]:
(Thor whispered to GM): I personally am beginning to think that there is something wrong here. Should I have Thor make an IQ roll?
Thomas mossies out, hands in his pocket, watching the show. He leans against the side of the fastcoach, taking the scene in.
Jamison steps forward
(GM whispered to Thor): Yes, make an IQ roll
DICE for Thor: (3d6) : 3d6=2,6,2 = [ 10 ]
(Thor whispered to GM): Problem with that being IQ is only 8..
[Jamison]: Sir Knight.... does anyone need some water or anything?
(GM whispered to Thor): hehehe
[Anne]: Anne watches the two doors to the Fastcoach, and retreives her package, doning the rucksack it is stored in, to keep it within reach...
(Thomas whispered to GM): I am scanning the ground for signs of a recent repair. Such as peices of wheel and such.
[GM]: Knight takes a step towards Jamison: No, actually we are well supplied.
[GM]: Knight: Are you headed toward the Royal City?
(Thor whispered to GM): good in combat but my intelligence is not as good as it should be. Normally I won't play a char with IQ less than 10..
(GM whispered to Thomas): Roll IQ
(To GM) DICE for Thomas: (3d6) : 3d6=3,3,4 = [ 10 ]
(Thomas whispered to GM): Made by 4
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): works now
Jamison steps forward.."Yes we are... to meet a friend of ours....And you?"
(GM whispered to Thomas): You see no signs at all of any repair work.
Thor steps forward slightly
[GM]: Knight (moves towards coach): Yes, going to the Royal City for the Wedding. They are increasing the watch, you know? (he smiles)
[Jamison]: At the Royal City... I would expect so....
[Jackdaw]: "You go for Frollic!" exclaims Jackdaw
[Jamison]: ?he looks at the coach... looking for a broken wheel
[GM]: Driver1 wipes the sweat from his brow: Well, we really should be going.
(GM whispered to Jamison): Vision roll
DICE for Jamison: (3d6) : 3d6=2,2,6 = [ 10 ]
(Jamison whispered to GM): IQ=10
(GM whispered to Jamison): You see no signs at all of any repair.
Jamison looks at the Knight suspiciosly..."Sir Knight.... I thought you said that yourepaired a wheel...Where is the broken one?"
[GM]: Knight looks at Driver1
Jamison steps forward....
[GM]: Driver1 (points): It's over there
[GM]: Driver1 points to the south side of the highway.
Thor steps forward himself
[GM]: There is a broken wheel there.
(GM whispered to Jamison): IQ roll
[Jamison]: Over there... Hmmmmm
(GM whispered to Thomas): IQ roll
DICE for Jamison: (3d6) : 3d6=5,4,5 = [ 14 ]
(GM whispered to Jamison): Maybe you overlooked it?
Thomas chews on his fingernails, keeping an eye on the situation through his long hair.
(To GM) DICE for Thomas: (3d6) : 3d6=3,2,2 = [ 7 ]
(Thomas whispered to GM): Made by 7
Jamison walks over to the south side of the road....
(GM whispered to Thomas): You are positive that the wheel was not there a few seconds ago.
[Jamison]: over here...where over here?
Thor keeps an eye on the other coach and the Knight as Jamison goes to look
[GM]: Driver2: Just a broken wheel. Nothing of value.
Anne fumes... Help be dammed! This is taking far too long, she thinks...
(Thomas whispered to GM): How far is it away?
[Jamison]: Maybe it could be repaired.... where is it?
[GM]: There is a wheel directly south of the coach, just off of the highway.
[GM]: Driver2 (looks at Driver1): No, that wheel is not salvageable. ... but suit yourself.
[Jamison]: OOC: are there weeds growing around it... or does it look like it was just put there?
[GM]: The wheel looks like it was just thrown into the grass.
[GM]: It is right in front of a bush.
Jamison goes to check the wheel
[GM]: OOC: to the north of it.
[GM]: Knight: Good Squire?
(Thomas whispered to GM): I want to roll it to me if possible with a spell, if it is an illusion I assume my spell will not work.
Jamison turns.."Yes Sir Knight?"
[GM]: Knight: ahh.... Do you have a Lord? Perhaps it's someone that I know.
(GM whispered to Thomas): Roll
(To GM) DICE for Thomas: (3d6) : 3d6=6,2,1 = [ 9 ]
(GM whispered to Thomas): Made it by?
(Jamison whispered to GM): OOC: what term could I use in place of walkabout...
(Thomas whispered to GM): I want to do it suibtly if possible, Apoortaition skill is 15. I am not sure how heavy it is.
[Anne]:
(GM whispered to Jamison): Hmm....Say that you are Freelance.
(GM whispered to Thomas): No fatigue expended ... a crit .. but the wheel does not budge.
[Jamison]: Presently I am Freelance, but I am working with Sir Cornilius recently... Why do you ask?
[GM]: Knight: Sir Cornelius? I have heard the name! (he smiles)
Jackdaw 's getting bored and climbs down from the coach roof
Thomas stretches, seeming to shake a cramp in his leg.
(Thomas whispered to GM): How far away is the wheel.
[Jamison]: Indeed, And may I ask you name Sir Knight?
[GM]: Knight: Umm... Sir Nicholas.
Jackdaw suddenly sprints for the bushes
[GM]: Knight looks at Jackdaw: Hey, are you a faun?
(GM whispered to Thomas): Just north of the bush on the map.
Thomas staggers off, with a pained look in his face as he walks of a leg cramp, surely brought on by the long travel in the fastcoach.
Jackdaw 's head popu up "yes"
[GM]: Knight: I have always wanted to meet a faun.
[Jackdaw]: then he goes about his business
[Jamison]: Well met, Sir Nicholas... I am Squire Jamison
[GM]: Driver1: Well, we are behind schedule ... we must be off.
Jamison returns to inspecting the broken wheel
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): looking for birds nests in the bushes for fresh eggs as a snack
[GM]: Knight nods to Jamison.
(GM whispered to Jackdaw): No, such luck.
(Jackdaw whispered to GM): bummer
(GM whispered to Jamison): In which way do you inspect it?
[Jackdaw]: after a little bit Jackdaw comes around to the knight
(Jamison whispered to GM): bendover and pick it up to see what kind of damage it has...
[GM]: PAUSE SESSION
Jackdaw says "hi, my Jackdaw"
[Thomas]: [Has Jamison checked the wheel yet?]
[GM]: Jamison bends down and touches the wheel.
(Anne whispered to GM): Heya! I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to go - I feel really bad...
[GM]: The drivers, the knight, the coach wavers and things change.
(GM whispered to Anne): Glad you made it for this long!
(GM whispered to Anne): ;-} Take care!
(Anne whispered to GM): I hate to leave the game in the middle - Anne will defend the sanctum Ral with her life if needed!
(GM whispered to Anne): Okay, noted.
(Anne whispered to GM): TTYL!
[GM]: RESUME SESSION
[ Zuggtmoy left the game ]
Jamison shouts.... "IT'S A TRICK...."
[GM]: The four men fade and are replaced by 4 highwaymen.
[GM]: The all draw shortswords and move to attack.
Jamison readies staff and moves forward...
[Thor]: OOC: I thought so.. ok here we go
[GM]: Combat Begins
[Jackdaw]: ooc where am I
[Jackdaw]: have I reached the knight?
[Jamison]: OOC: in front of a highway man
[Jamison]: can you see the map, JD?
[GM]: I assume that all minis are accurate at this point.
[Jamison]: yep...
[GM]: Okay, I am trying to determine sequence.
[GM]: I need everyone's init.
Thomas thinks, "Yep, and a good one at that." He draws his ready shortsword, hoping he will not have to use it but figuring he will. His free hand is ready to cast as spell if need be.
[ Thor left the game ]
[ MikeL left the game ]
[Jamison]:
[GM]: OOC: Lagmonster strikes again.
[Thomas]: [Move is 6]
[ MikeL joined the game ]
[GM]: Welcome back
[Jamison]: move=6, because my backpack is on the coach
[MikeL]: sequence 6
[Jamison]: 1 less incumbrance...
[GM]: Okay, I believe that this is the sequence:
[GM]: Jing, Jackdaw, Thomas, Thor, Jamison, Highwaymen, Anval, Spence, Palmer, Horrice
[GM]: Anyone want to debate that?
[GM]: ...
[GM]: Jackdaw your initiative is 6?
[Jackdaw]: step into close combat and all out attack, grabbing his arm with wrestling in an arm lock and using a knee strike to the groin
[Jackdaw]: yes
[Jackdaw]: sorry that should have come on my action
[GM]: Then I guess that Thor should actually come in front of you.
[Jackdaw]:
[Jackdaw]: ok
[GM]: He has a move of 6 + CR = 7
[Jackdaw]: my no haveded CR
[GM]: Jing's action.
[ Thor joined the game ]
[GM]: Jing moves twoard the action (not having drawn his katana yet)
[GM]: OOC: Welcome back Thor
[Thor]: OOC: ok back sorry. Lagged out while you were determining combat sequence. What did I miss?
[GM]: Thor: Your initiative is 7?
[Thor]: That sounds right.
[GM]: The only action taken so far is Jing moving.
[GM]: Thor, your action (map is accurate)
[Thor]: I will just move..
[GM]: Move your mini
[GM]: Jackdaw, your action
[ Paul joined the game ]
[GM]: OOC: Welcome Paul
[Fracas]: ooc - thanks! :)
(Jamison whispered to GM): OOC: my move is 6+1 for CR=7... but we can play it as it is... myfault
(GM whispered to Jamison): Hmm... then I will fix it next round.
(Jamison whispered to GM): no problem... my fault
[Thomas]:
[GM]: Jackdaw?
[Jackdaw]: step into close combat and all out attack, grabbing his arm with wrestling in an arm lock and using a knee strike to the groin

[GM]: Okay, Thor
[Thor]: See you guys later..
[Jackdaw]: even with -2 for the arm I get it
[Jackdaw]: later

(Jackdaw whispered to GM): I didn't take the hoof bonus since it was a knee but did use kicking
[GM]: Thomas, your action?
[Thomas]: [Hehehe...That was pretty easy. You have to watch it Rubix, or you will have a bunch of kickers on your hands ^_^]
[GM]: OOC: Yes, I know ....
Thomas reaches out with one hand, his left as his blade is in his right, and makes a yanking motion as if a mother was taking a dangerous toy from a child. He attempts to teleport one of bandit's weapons away from them.
[GM]: OOC: Perhaps all the new foes will be wearing cups.
[Thomas]: [lol]
[Jamison]: OOC: time for the steel cod pieces to come out...hehehe
[GM]: Roll Thomas

[Jackdaw]: ooc is there still a coach there?
[GM]: HM2's weapon vanishes
[GM]: Thomas? Where to?
[Thomas]: [So...1.5 fatigue points? Round up to two?]
[Thomas]: [Behind me is fine]
[GM]: ((Yes, Thomas, you took 2 fatigue))
[GM]: The weapon falls to the ground behind Thomas
[GM]: Jamison, your action?

[GM]: Roll
DICE for Jamison: (3d6) : 3d6=6,3,3 = [ 12 ]

[Jamison]:
[GM]: HM1 attempts to parry (using staff, right Jamison?)
[Thomas]: [Hey, we are not afraid of cheap shots...Yanking weapons and swift kicks to the nuts! Hmm, maybe that can be worked into a motto...]
[Jamison]: Yes
DICE for GM: (3d6) : 3d6=4,1,6 = [ 11 ]
[GM]: HM1 does not parry
[GM]: Roll damage.
DICE for Jamison: (3d6) : 3d6=4,4,3 = [ 11 ]
[GM]: OOC: Now that's a staff!!!
[Jamison]: cr
[GM]: OOC: Is the damage correct Jamison?
[Jamison]: OOC:must be a heavy duty staff
[Jamison]: let me verify...
[Jamison]: what is sw for 12
[GM]: 1d6+2
[GM]: That's the base
[Jamison]: so 1d+2(+2Staff)(+2WM)
[GM]: That sounds right .... 3d6
[Jamison]: ok
[GM]: HM1 takes 9 points of damage
DICE for GM: (3d6) : 3d6=3,1,6 = [ 10 ]
[GM]: HM1 keeps his feet
[GM]: HM3 moves, ducking around the front of the coach
[GM]: Horrice moves
[GM]: Round 2
[GM]: Jing moves
[GM]: Thor moves
[GM]: Thor steps and yells to HM2 (who has no weapon), "Yield or die!"
Jackdaw dives and rolls under the rear axel of the coach
[Jackdaw]: sorry too soon
[GM]: Jackdaw, you action?
Jackdaw dives and rolls under the rear axel of the coach
DICE for Jackdaw: (3d6) : 3d6=4,4,2 = [ 10 ]
[Jackdaw]: acrobatics 11
[GM]: Okay
[GM]: Move your mini
[GM]: nm
[Jackdaw]: and grabs for his sirinx
[Jackdaw]: DX roll?
[Jackdaw]: it hangs on a cord around my neck
[GM]: Yes, another DX roll to grab the Sirinx this round.
DICE for Jackdaw: (3d6) : 3d6=3,1,5 = [ 9 ]
[Jackdaw]: DX13
[GM]: Good
[Jackdaw]: ooc need Fast Draw Sirinx?
[GM]: OOC: hehehe
[GM]: Jamison, your action? (then Thomas)
[GM]: OOC: Jamison should have been at init of 7
[Jamison]: OOC: first... I believe damage for me =2d+2, not 3d... my misstake....
[Jackdaw]: ooc I think that's right
(Paul whispered to GM): i think it should be 1d6+6 actually
[Jamison]: step and attack HM1
[Jackdaw]: ooc or 3d-1
[Jackdaw]: ooc since +7=2d
[GM]: OOC: Wait up
[Jamison]: OOC:I think 3d-1 is 1 higher...
[GM]: OOC: You have 1d6 + 6, right Jamison?
[Jamison]: yes...
[GM]: OOC: The way that I normally play it (in RL) is that that would equal 2d6+2
[GM]: OOC: moving 6 steps down the damage column
[Jamison]: That is what I think, too... my mistake the first round..
[Jamison]: miscounted.
[GM]: OOC: But in other games I have been playing that 1d6 + 3 = 2d6
[GM]: OOC: Where is the page ref MIke? Do you know?
[Jamison]: It's your game.... make the call
[Jackdaw]: ooc not off hand
[Jackdaw]: +7 would equal +2d6 average
[Paul]: ooc page 74 of basic has the damage table
[Jamison]: I'm just counting down the basic weapon damage coloumn, B74
[Jackdaw]: therefore +6 might be 2d6-1
[Jamison]: That's for thrusting,JD
[Jackdaw]: but it's also viable to count up the ST damage table where it would be 2d6+2 instead of 3d6-1
[Jackdaw]: GURPS has it both ways, it lists a +3 as =1d6 and a +4=1d6 at different places
[Jackdaw]: sorry should have been "therefore +6 might be +2d6-1"
[Jamison]: OOC: up to the GM, then... set a rule, Rub. and I'll play it
[Paul]: OOC -the thrusting table only moves on strength changes of 2, so you should use the swinging table IMO

[GM]: OOC: I am going to say that the damage from last round stands.
[GM]: OOC: But lets use 2d6+2 for now, until I put some more thought into it.
